Ottawa Festival! For the first time in 5 years, BananaShip finally had a competition outside of Montreal.

In our first appearance at the 2011 Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival, BananaShip was nominated for “Best Team Spirit”, and was awarded the “Best T-shirt Design”! And after a successful first day of races, we were ranked #30 out of 165 teams. Keep up the great effort everyone!

BananaShip competed in its first H2O Open and ranked 12th out of 18 community teams. The bar has certainly been raised at the basin, time for us to train harder!

Stephanie W, Stephanie Shiao, Xiao, King, Sheldon, Zeshan, Phil, Merica, Amanda, Tak and Samie from BananaShip went to a sugar shack trip.
