First race of the season! And what a good way to start – BananaShip’s second appearance at the Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival, and we took home Bronze in Premier E category. On a side note, Happy Father’s Day to our surrogate dad, Xiao! (He’s the oldest) Some pics below.

It’s time! We’ve officially started our new season with returning paddlers and new recruits! Practices have been rolling every Wednesdays and Fridays, but it’s already time for our first competition of the season: H2O Open! Alright Bananas! No more hibernating, not this year! Winter training will happen every second Friday beginning November 29. Too lazy to mark your own calendar? Just look to your right for the training dates. Same place as usual, our home away from home – the Olympic Basin!
